The
AgriMetal Collector is a stand-alone unit with an independent
pickup head featuring rotating flails.
The problem
with most Lawn Vacuums is they don't really work! Typically
a gas engine drives a small diameter impeller that tries to
suction debris through a 10' hose attached to a mower deck.
The blades turning on the deck supposedly get debris moving
so the impeller can take over and deposit the material into
a hopper.
There are
2 basic problems here: Debris has to travel too far from the
pickup point to the hopper; and the blades on the mower deck
are turning the wrong way!
AgriMetal's
creative designers built a LARGE diameter impeller and put it
INSIDE the pickup head (patent pending). Leaves and debris are
sucked into both sides of the impeller and only travel inches
to the hopper rather than feet, so it's like having 2 blowers
housing and 2 impellers on each unit.
The second
part of the one-two punch is an innovative rotor with super-light
nylon flails (also patent pending) that actually COMBS leaves,
thatch and even PINE STRAW! Out of fine turf.
